5. AI Processing Disclosure

Important: When you use AI features (for example the Ori assistant, task breakdowns and smart suggestions in Focus, the AI chat coach in Wiggle, or AI invoice import and editing in Get Paid), your input is sent to one or more third-party AI providers for processing. We use more than one provider and route each request to whichever is best suited or available at the time, so a given request may be handled by any of them:

ProviderProcessing LocationPrivacy Policy
Anthropic (Claude)United Statesanthropic.com
Google (Gemini)United Statespolicies.google.com
Moonshot AI (Kimi)Chinamoonshot.ai
  • Your input (task descriptions, messages, and for Get Paid the invoice content or uploaded file) is sent to the selected provider's servers for that request.
  • Each provider processes the data under its own privacy policy, linked above.
  • We store conversation history to provide continuity in your AI interactions.
  • Under our agreements, these providers process your input to return a result and do not use it to train their models. This depends on each provider's current terms rather than a guarantee we can make on their behalf.

Cross-border note: Moonshot AI processes data in China, which does not have an EU adequacy decision. If you do not want your AI input processed outside the United States, avoid using AI-powered features.

By using AI features, you consent to this data processing. AI features are always optional - you can avoid sharing data with these providers by not using them (in Focus, turn off the AI Features toggle in your profile settings).

6. App-Specific Data Practices

Different apps in the suite touch different data. The practices below are grouped by category and name representative apps; the same practices apply to other apps of the same kind.

Productivity apps with AI (e.g. Focus, Get Paid, Wiggle)

  • AI processing: Input you send to AI features (task descriptions, chat messages, invoice content, uploaded PDFs) is sent to a third-party AI provider as described in Section 5.
  • Behavioral profiling: In Focus (Pro), we analyze your usage patterns to provide personalized suggestions.
  • App data: Session details, tasks, habits, invoices, and activity logs you create are stored.
  • Mood/energy tracking: Optional wellness indicators you select in Focus are stored.
  • Gamification: Points, streaks, and achievements are tracked.
  • Chat history: AI conversations in Focus are retained for 90 days, then auto-pruned.
  • Rate limiting: Wiggle records your IP address to rate-limit AI chat and prevent abuse.

Opt-out: In Focus, the "AI Features" toggle in your profile settings disables AI entirely. In other apps, AI runs only when you actively invoke it.

Coordination and event apps (e.g. Stuff, shift and group planning)

  • Phone numbers: When you invite others via SMS, their phone numbers are collected and sent to Twilio for message delivery.
  • Email addresses: When you invite others via email, their addresses are sent to Resend for delivery.
  • Location data: Saved locations and their usage frequency are stored for convenience.
  • Connection visibility: You control which connections can see your activity.
  • Event and scheduling data: Event details, voting preferences, participation, and shift assignments are stored.

Note: These apps do not use AI features. Your event and scheduling data is not sent to any AI service.

Personal trackers and reference apps

  • Personal entries: Goals, habits, journals, reflections, and activity or media logs you create are stored and tied to your account.
  • Sensitive free text: Some apps store private journal or reflection text. Please avoid entering information you would not want stored.
  • Reference content: Apps like plant-care or reading-list references may fetch images or media from third parties (see Section 7). Your personal data is not sent to those services.

Note: These apps do not use AI features unless stated in the app itself.
